The computer says that my account is locked. What should I do?

If you enter the wrong password more than five times, your account will become locked. If you are entering the correct password, and your account is locked, you will have to wait fifteen minutes for it will unlock itself or you can try to self-service reset your password prior to the 15 minute lockout period.   You also have the option to contact the service desk and get a temporary password over the phone.

If you are a student and your account becomes locked, you can use https://wcsu.edu/password to independently reset your password or contact the IT&I Service Desk at (203) 837-8467.

If you are a faculty member and your account becomes locked, you may also use https://wcsu.edu/password to reset your password or contact the IT&I Service Desk at  (203) 837-8467 for further assistance.
