How does printing work on campus?

To print from any of the staffed computer labs to an available printer queue, first indicate to the university computer you are logged on to that you which to print by selecting "print" from the program you have opened or by pressing 'Ctrl' and 'P' at the same time. Using the options provided, indicate to your program whether or not you would like to have you document printed in black and white, color, single-sided, or duplex among other options.

Your document will then be identified within the printing system that the university uses. To execute the print, swipe your valid Western ID using the card reader(s) installed near the printers. Select the job that you wish to print using the adjacent touchscreen. Select Print. Your remaining balance credits will show up on the touchscreen. The job will release to the nearest printer.

If you have forgotten your Western ID card, give the Computer Center Assistant your last name and ask them to "push my document through.
