To get started, you will need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to be registered for the current or following academic semester<\/li>\n<li>a WESTCONNect card (visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/westconnect\/card-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/westconnect\/card-services\/<\/a> for more info)<\/li>\n<li>a WCSU User Account (visit <a href=\"https:\/\/support.wcsu.edu\/?ht_kb=how-do-i-obtain-a-wcsu-user-account\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/support.wcsu.edu\/?ht_kb=how-do-i-obtain-a-wcsu-user-account<\/a> for more info)<\/li>\n<li>adequate funds in your CONNect Cash account (add funds to your account using the GET app: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/westconnect\/connect-cash-deposits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/westconnect\/connect-cash-deposits\/<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Registering Your WESTCONNect Card with Pharos<\/h3>\n<p>New students who have been issued a WESTCONNect card need to register their cards with Pharos before printing. You can register your card in any public computer center or in your dorm using a Pharos release station.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is a one-time process unless you receive a replacement card, in which case you will have to register the card with Pharos again. Printing in the Residence Halls requires a personal computer or Mobile Device.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MTCC (Haas Library)<\/li>\n<li>WSCC (WS 117)<\/li>\n<li>SCCC (SC 225)<\/li>\n<li>iLab (CC 125)<\/li>\n<li>WS 24 Hour Lab (WS 247)<\/li>\n<li>Grasso Hall Rec Room<\/li>\n<li>Centennial Hall Meeting Room (Entrance Right side of Main Lobby)<\/li>\n<li>Pinney Hall Rec Room<\/li>\n<li>Litchfield Hall 1st Floor Lobby<\/li>\n<li>Fairfield Hall 1st Floor Lobby<\/li>\n<li>Newbury Hall Rec Room<\/li>\n<li>More to come!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Note: Residence Halls and WS 24 Hour Lab have only black and white printers. For 24-hour access to a color printer, visit the MTCC in the Haas Library on the Midtown Campus.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Printing Costs<\/h3>\n<p>Here are the different printing options and cost per page:<\/p>\n<p>$0.05 for Black &amp; White, Single-Sided<\/p>\n<p>$0.08 for Black &amp; White, Double-Sided<\/p>\n<p>$0.14 for Color, Single-Sided<\/p>\n<p>$0.22 for Color, Double-Sided<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Ways to Print<\/h3>\n<p>Printing at Western is designed to be flexible and hassle-free. There are three ways to print:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From a computer located at any of our staffed or 24-Hour Computer Centers (see https:\/\/www.wcsu.edu\/iti\/computers\/ for a full list)<\/li>\n<li>From a personally owned Mac, PC, or Chromebook<\/li>\n<li>From a variety of phones and mobile devices: iPhone, iPad, Android, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Printing from a personally owned device requires a connection to any one of our Wireless networks.<\/p>\n<h3>Where to Get Help<\/h3>\n<p>The Computer Center Assistants at any of our staffed computer centers (MTCC, WSCC, SCCC, and the iLab) can assist you with issues relating to printing and charging.
