What should I do to clean up my personal information?

What You Should Do to Clean Up PII (Personal Identifiable Information):

  1. Review the Spirion Identity Finder Introduction Presentation.
  2. Review the Spirion Identity Finder Client Instructions (Windows Instructions | Mac Instructions)
  3. Follow the Spirion Identity Finder Client Instructions to run an Identity Finder scan on the hard drive of any WCSU-owned computer you log in to, your email, and your H: & K: drives.

Secure Staging Area for Storing Files Containing PII (Personal Identifiable Information):

Please review the document retention standards located here to determine if you must keep a file containing PII. If you have files containing PII that must be kept, then the P: drive (formerly listed as the “secure” folder on your H: drive) or the department folder on the Q: drive (formerly listed as the “secure” folder in your area’s K: drive folder) within SecNet should be used to quarantine the files as the approved DCL3 storage location.
