BannerAdmin is used by administrative departments responsible for the management of Banner information (e.g. Admissions, Alumni, Cashier’s Office, Financial Aid, Fiscal Affairs, Housing and Residence Life, Human Resources, and Registrar).
BannerAdmin is also used by academic department chairs to assign advisors and also perform overrides.
BannerAdmin is also used for the following functions:
- Posting charges
- Budget query
- Online requisition
- Advisee list query
- Course permissions
Access to BannerAdmin for these functions are coordinated through Admissions (recruitment), Cashier’s Office (posting charges), and Fiscal Affairs (budget query and online requisitions).
Please note that faculty also have inclusive access to Banner Self Service for the purpose of entering grades, obtain a list of advisees, and access class listings.
