All new faculty members get a University account which allows for access to campus computers, Blackboard, Banner, and Email.
In order to get the credentials for a new account, all faculty members will need to contact the IT Service Desk at 203-837-8467. Once we verify your information over the phone and confirm your employment with Human Resources, we will proceed to give you a temporary password that will allow you sign into your account for the first time.
All faculty and staff members are encouraged to regularly utilize their WCSU Account for official Western business.
Your email address follows the format of “firstname.lastname@example.org”. “fi” stands for first initial. For example, John Smith would use: email@example.com
